Speech Language Pal provides services that help young children learn to communicate and interact with others. Parents and caregivers are taught strategies for speech and language development in their homes or through teletherapy during play and daily routines.
Ali is the owner and service provider for Speech Language Pal. She is certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association and received her doctorate in Communication Sciences from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master’s degree from the University at Buffalo. She has been working with children with communication challenges and their families for more than 20 years. She specializes in early childhood and taught college students at Metro State University of Denver for eight years. She enjoys supporting children’s social and emotional growth through play and interaction. Ali is skilled at teaching parents how to facilitate speech and communication development in their young children. She believes that predictable routines and rich interactions help to build a natural environment for communication development. Ali has extensive training in the areas of language facilitation strategies, autism, childhood apraxia of speech and speech sound disorders. She is married and the mother of two teenage daughters.
